From Walter Reed hospital...

You've heard Bob Hope and other programs doing their shows from various hospitals during WWII.  What did you imagine the audience was like?

If you're anything like me, you didn't imagine beds rolled into the aisles with sick soldiers lying on them.  This photo, from Walter Reed Hospital, shows the audience during a recording of Vox Pop; the little-known show was mostly just a series of interviews with people, famous and not so.

Walter Reed Hospital is in Washington D.C.
