Allen's Alley
About the only good/funny thing about any of Fred Allen's show's are his Allen's Alley and Mrs. Nussbaum.
Mrs. Nussbaum is hilarious.
Portland Hoffa, the then wife of Allen, was pathetically bad. Her voice is not a voice meant for radio. Ever. (Proof: Portland Hoffa on What's My Line?, TV show.)
