My mother loved Lulu Belle and Scotty. I remember her saying this many times. That is the most I recall from them. So your blog has reminded me of that. Good memories of my mom.
I listened to a couple of their songs including I Have Told You Lately that I Love You. One of my mom's favorites. I know the song sung by many different artists from the 50s. Your mom must have been the inspiration you had for writing songs?

ReplyDeleteNo, not at all. I hate to say this - but I never have liked that slow, twangy stuff.
