That picture of the Riley family is not what I would have imagined it to be. First of all, they all seem too civil and content family. Not the bungling one I think of. Also, they were pinching pennies and they have an abundant amount of fruit on the table. I think I see a bottle of wine there and do not think of them as wine drinkers. Too expensive. Lastly, the chairs they have look way too similar to our kitchen table now. Guess time does not change as much as we all think. Just comments on what I see when looking at that picture.
haha that's not the Riley family, that's the BENDIX family. Riley and Peg could never afford fruit or chairs or robots.
I just listened to a Life of Riley show last night where Riley could only afford to drink milk for lunch and made $4 a week at the Dairy company her worked - and worked 12 hours a day! (That's .15 cents an hour!)
