I chuckle at some of these words. Then I sit back and must laugh at myself as sometimes I screw up words like Lum and Abner.
Well to be honest, since I started the dictionary and began looking at these words, I realize most of the same words are being used by Ed Garder in Duffy's Tavern, on Amos and Andy, Gillis and Riley on Life of Riley (just to name 3.)
....and by a lot of us, but, hopefully not to the extent these folks do.
