Progress - July 8th

+ Had some major computer problem late yesterday and early today so I made minimal progress:

+ Finished an episode of Vic and Sade.

+ Added the following words to the Lum and Abner Dictionary:

  suspicion

+ Added another post to Peabody's Peabrain.

+ Added these books to OTR Books:

• Hello Everybody: the dawn of American radio 
• Cold War America, 1946 to 1990
• Mass Appeal: The Formative Age of Movies, Radio and TV
• The Music Men: The guys who sang with the band and beyond
• Points on the Dial: Golden Age Radio Beyond the Networks
• What's on the Air Tonight: My view of the Golden Age of Radio and other things  

Fooled around with the books for about 2 hours but these are the only new ones I found.

+ Finished breaking down another interview over at Audio Interviews; this one a very interesting piece done with Dennis Day, who talks a lot about the Jack Benny Show, his own show, John Brown, the reason why Phil Harris left the Benny Show, Mary Livingstone collapsing often after the Benny Show and lots more.  These interviews are really worth taking the time to listen to - or you can pick the segments you want.  After all, that's why I have done them this way; so you can easily choose what you want.  Plus, you can download the entire interview without those terrible 1970's commercials.
