Notice that Fred Allen ranks highest on the poll that was taken in Boston. Probably because he was originally from that city, however he did make some snide comments about the city due to his early childhood. Bob Hope seemed to always rank above his buddy, Bing Crosby. Once on a broadcast, Bing was kidding Bob about how much time he spent in the woods looking for his golf ball. Bob replied, "I was looking for your Hooper rating."
