Spike Jones and his City Slickers....They had a record out in the late Forties...It was about a horse race with a horse named Beetlebaum or Feetlebaum. The horses went by crazy names...Carrots in a Bunch....Poison Ivy who got scratched...the other record I recall was Cocktails For Two...lot of noise, gunshots and horns.
