A lot of the OTR shows would not have been as good without their female side kicks. So many of the detective shows utilized them in this manner. I particularly liked the secretary to Sam Spade (Howard Duff).
Once again, I agree. I forget her name but she was good.My favorite female sidekick is Lois Lane in The Adventures of Superman, though she is often a foil rather than a sidekick.
