I can tell you that a venture of this sort for a show that has over 700 shows (that's 2 years if I did one everyday) would be a tremendous amount of work.

FM&M is loaded with tiny minutae that is time consuming to keep track of. And the shows last twice as long as Vic and Sade.

On the other hand, I could chronicle Bill Stern (something that needs to be done as you can nowhere find what's in each show) - and it only last 15 minutes and there aren't that many surving show (at least, not 700.)Jimbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06727628684761174393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730506450510174085.post-8795329887652557082012-01-05T10:50:47.112-05:002012-01-05T10:50:47.112-05:00From a historical point of view, why not at the be...From a historical point of view, why not at the beginning. Later on their was more of a reliance on skits, like Molly learning to drive. I found those more interesting. They also went from a 30 minute show to a fifteen minute show. Most of their time they were under the influence of Johnson Was and Wilcox. Also, when did Tinie enter the show?Boston Blackienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730506450510174085.post-62204353467134010932012-01-03T23:01:10.891-05:002012-01-03T23:01:10.891-05:00Maybe I won't do FM&M :) Maybe I'll d...Maybe I won't do FM&M :) Maybe I'll do another show. The years Molly had drinking problems and not in the program while getting treatment is of interest.Boston Blackienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730506450510174085.post-76399931476302410362012-01-03T11:02:00.910-05:002012-01-03T11:02:00.910-05:00Hi Stranger. Happy new year to you also. :)

I agree about the FM&M (say 1940 on...) but that's not really very complete if I did it that way.

I'd want it to be complete or not do it at all. So... we need to come up with ideas how to keep everyone interested. Maybe I could do one from the early days one, one from the later days the next and alternate. Of course that would throw things out of whack too.

I do understand where you are coming from as those episodes after Harold Peary left are the best ones (not that he had anything to do with it.)

Ideas are welcomed.Jimbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06727628684761174393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8730506450510174085.post-45965051713223510112012-01-03T10:55:35.700-05:002012-01-03T10:55:35.700-05:00Happy New Year, Jimbo. The early 30s and 40s are not as interesting to me as the later 40s and 50s. Just my opinion.Boston Blackienoreply@blogger.com
